Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The performance of Jakarta Provincial Government for the past 2.5 years was rated at minimum. None of the Regional Apparatus Work Units (SKPD) had performed any developments.

"Two and a half year Jakarta showed no developments. All conducted by private," said Jakarta Governor Basuki Tjahaja Purnama in a public consultation forum of Jakarta's Regional Administration Work Plan (RKPD) for 2016, at the City Hall, Central Jakarta, Monday (5/25/2015).

He mentioned that all auctions should have been conducted in November 2014 to January this year. Nevertheless, not all auctions have been completed until recently. As the result, the capital conducts zero development. Ahok will alter the non-operational program budget to purchase land.
He hopes that the negligence of SKPD this year will not be repeated, due to well arranged 2016 RKPD, which is nearing perfection. Ahok pointed out that the orientation of SKPD performance is to spend their budget with no clear descriptions at the auctions.
"The target was only to spend money. I have predicted, when we apply e-budgeting system this year, everything crumbles," he added.
To improve Jakarta's development, Ahok is to evaluate the performance of SKPD every six months. If proven that an official is incapable, he will replace the person. "We will find competent ones, let the good ones do the job," he stated. (Eps)
