Apindo-BKPM Search for Solutions to Ease Foreign Investments

Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Indonesian Employers Association (Apindo) along with the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) are searching for solutions of Indonesia's investment problems. It is meant to ease foreign investors to place their investments in Indonesia.

The variety of complaints from foreign investors toward the licensing in Indonesia had set Apindo and BKPM to sit together in resolving this issue. A same vision is the goal of the cooperation between the two institutions.

"To acquire same vision in resolving the issue," mentioned the Head of International Relations and Investments of Apindo, Shinta Widjaja Kamdani, in Thamrin Tower, Jakarta, Wednesday evening (6/24/2015).

At this point, Shinta confessed that Apindo and BKPM have conducted several measures to realize easiness for foreign investors to place their investments. One of the is by looking for local partners.

"We are looking for a local partner to anticipate the troubles of foreign investors. All foreigners having trouble to invest in Indonesia will soon be helped," said Shinta, who also hoped that in the future Indonesia will not only attract investor's interest, but also hoped to urge investors to expand and develop their business.
