The police is still investigating and acquiring statements of several witnesses from tenants, management and employees.

"It is possible (to be imposed criminal sanction) whether it is the employee, tenant or the management. It is very much possible, not a joke. One fire, causes loss," said Jakarta Police Chief Inspector General Tito Karnavian at Jakarta Police Headquarters, Tuesday (7/7/2015).
Tito admitted they are still waiting for the forensic laboratory results, which was postponed due to reexamination of the scene. "Yesterday they have done crime scene investigation, but it was still hot there, and reexamination will take place today. In one or two days it will be finished," he stated.
Following the release of forensic lab results, his party is to study the cause of fire incident on Terminal 2E. Whether it is an electric short cut, or negligence and intentional factors in the incident.
"If it is negligence, there will be criminal sanction. Whoever, due to his/her negligence caused fire may be sanctioned. We can apply this," Tito stated.
As it is known, the fire happened at JW Sky Lounge of Terminal 2E, Soekarno-Hatta Airport, Tangerang, Banten, on Sunday at around 05.45 local time. (Eps)
