Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: Jakarta Governor Basuki `Ahok` Tjahaja Purnama questioned the performance of Indonesian Financial Investigation Bureau (BPK). Even so after the institution released audit report (LHP) towards Jakarta administration's unusual financial report.

Ahok was surprised why LHP was given only to the Jakarta Regional Representative Council (DPRD). He was also surprised to find the agreement letter between BPK and DPRD No. 497/KB/I-XIII.2/12/2010 on the Submission of BPK Audit Results to DPRD DKI Jakarta.
"There was an agreement not to submit the audit to the Governor, and they (BPK) denied having presented to the Regional Secretary (Sekda), which is why I ask what is the matter with BPK?" Ahok stated at the City Hall,  Medan Merdeka Selatan, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (7/14/2015).
Ahok thinks that LHP should have been submitted to the regional leaders such as the Governor and the speaker of the regional house. "DPRD and Governor are not separated, different with the president and the House of Representatives, regional government is comprised of Governor, executives and DPRD, so how do they translate only (submitting LHP) to DPRD. I say they (BPK) are making things up," he said.
As informed, BPK in its audit found 70 findings within the Jakarta government financial report. The findings are related to the problem of asset ownership with a potential of Rp495 billion state loss.
The problems of asset ownerships occur in 45 regional work units (SKPD) in Jakarta. Among them are the Public Communication and Information Service, Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency, Tax Service, Bina Marga, Educational Service, Landscaping Service, Social Service, Youth and Sports Service, Transportation Service and PT TransJakarta.
