Metrotvnews.com, Jakarta: The tight relationship between Indonesia and India had been established since hundreds of years ago. Both countries are not just friends, but have become a soulmate.

It is mentioned by Vice President of India, Mohammad Hamid Ansari when visiting Jakarta, Monday evening (11/2/2015).

Vice President Ansari inserted the poetry from the Indian artist, Rabindranath Tagore, titled 'To Java,' in his speech in an Open Discussion held in Shangrila Hotel, Central Jakarta.

"None can interpret the natural relationship between India and Indonesia better than Rabindranath Tagore, who visited the Indonesian islands in 1927, as at the time made his famous poem 'To Java'," said VP Ansari.

Vice President Ansari is in Indonesia from November 1-4, 2015. The visit is to tighten the relationship between the two nations, as expanding and deepening the cooperation in several fields, especially on energy and economy.

The expansion of cooperation is seen from the signing of an MoU on the development of renewable energy and culture trade. The Indian delegation, including some of its parliament members will also visit the People's Consultative Council (MPR) as well as the Regional Representative Council (DPD) to study Indonesia democracy.
