Metrotvnews.com, Wakatobi: Cemara Beach has a beautiful landscape. In Wangi-Wangi island, the location is one of the tourism destinations offering an exotic beach atmosphere.
The sand is white and the sea color is greenish. Shallow and calm, it is perfect for them wanting to splash around and swim at the beachfront.

Several cottages to sit around was also provided. As other beaches, the ideal time to visit the location is in the afternoon, when the sun is setting and the seawater still touches the white sand. In the afternoon, the location is also an ideal spot to enjoy the sunset.

If you come in the morning, the water is still receding. However, if you want to walk on the 'dry' sea, it is not a problem to come early in the morning at the Cemara Beach.
The distance of the beach is only seven kilometers from downtown Wanci. The access is quite easy, as from the main road, vehicles should only enter 100 meters nearing the coastal part, passing through the coconut trees.
Cemara Beach is also in a short proximity with the residents' houses, as we can see the activities conducted by the villagers of Waha, Wangi-Wangi District, such as making boats.

For those who love snorkeling and diving, Cemara Beach also treasured it's underwater charm, which has become the forefront of Wakatobi's tourism. In his location, there are also diving tourism management providing the equipment and diving tour packages.
Moving out a bit further from the downtown, there is an interesting location to visit, which is Molii Sahatu in Patuno Village, Wangi-Wangi Island, Wakatobi. Molii means fountain, Sahatu means a hundred.
In the morning, when the water is low, visitors may witness a number of fountains emerging from the rocks at the shore. The unique part is that even though it is on the shore, the water tastes plain.

In one of the spots, the emerging water from the rocks had shaped a small pond, as used by the villagers to wash their clothes. But the cleanliness of this location is well maintained. In the afternoon, the location is also a good spot to enjoy the sunset.
To enjoy the sunset in Wangi-Wangi Island, tourists actually don't have to go to the beach. There is the Toliamba Peak 10 minutes away from downtown if using a car or a motorcycle. Next year, the local administration plans to build a parking spot to host more visitors.
"From Toliamba Peak, people may see from the heights the view of Wangi-Wangi Island and Kapota. They don't have to go to the beach to see the sunset," mentioned the Head of Tourism Destination Development of the Wakatobi's Tourism Board, Siswadi.
